Citizens Advice Trafford is changing the way it delivers its service to the public in Trafford. The new Gateway Assessment' approach to service delivery attempts to determine the next step that needs to be taken in order that the client's problem can be addressed.
A gateway assessment may result in: The client being given information and/or self-help materials Information being highlighted or explained to the client The client being signposted or referred to another agency or organisation An appointment being made for the client within CAB service Citizens Advice Trafford believes that by adopting this approach we will be able to help substantially more people and reduce waiting times without having an adverse impact on quality or creating bottlenecks.
This is a huge change from the way we have delivered our service in the past and we will need more volunteers to help us deliver this new service. We are looking for people to train as receptionists and advisers. They will need to have basic IT skills; using any existing skills they have and learning new ones. Training and on-going support will be given and travel expenses paid. If you are interested or want to know more please ring 962-2903 and ask for Ann or Nicola
