Next Epilepsy meeting

The next meeting for Epilepsy Action South Manchester Branch will be on Thursday 19th June. At Park House 73 Northernden Road in Sale. Starting at 7:30pm we have a Guest Speaker from the St John Ambulance giving a first aid talk.

Stretford collection a success

Advice and Information will be advailable for any one who wants to know about Epilepsy. the event will be held on Monday 21st May at Park House 73 Northenden Rd Sale. From 9:30am till 3:15pm Accredited Volunteers will be on hand to talk and hand out information booklets.

Seeing Fairtrade in action
A few days ago I went on the hunt for a sugar plantation, with Sue, a retired nurse from Britain who is over in Malawi doing six months’ voluntary work. She is based several hours’ north of us, in Salima, helping local nurses caring for and visiting people who are dying. At home Sue buys all her sugar from the charity Traidcraft – so we were looking for the co-operative who their white sugar.
