Free Information Day for Low-Grade Brain Tumour Patients & Carers

For the first time, a National Low-Grade Brain Tumour Information Day will be held in the North West, organised by the Walton Centre and co-sponsored by Macmillan Cancer Support and the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust, Astro Fund. This marks a big step forward for the regional support services available for people affected by these slow growing brain tumours.

Mark Hunter - Member of Parliament for the Cheadle Constituency - recently paid a visit to the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust's (SDBTT) new regional office in Bramhall to hear about their up-coming national campaigns, and local support initiatives.

Tea Parties for Brain Tumour Awareness Month

Local people are being asked to "put the kettle on" to raise money for brain cancer research and support projects throughout the UK. Tea parties are being held at people's homes, schools and workplaces during Brain Tumour Awareness Month in March, with proceeds going to help the work of the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust.
